Emily Guthrie appointed Librarian

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Emily Guthrie as the new Librarian of the Library Company of Philadelphia. Emily will succeed James Green as Librarian, a position he has held for much of his 35-year tenure.

Laura Domencic named Executive Director

We are pleased to announce that the Erie Art Museum has selected Laura Domencic as its new Executive Director. Museum Search & Reference guided the national search with Connie Rosemont as Lead Consultant. Ms. Domencic takes up her duties February 8, 2021.

Sarah Crawford named Director of Exhibitions

We are pleased to announce that Sarah Crawford has been appointed as Director of Exhibitions of the Carnegie Museum of Natural History, Pittsburgh, PA, effective November 23, 2020. Martin Betz appointed Executive Director

Timothy Peterson appointed as Executive Director and Chief Curator.

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Timothy Peterson as Executive Director and Chief Curator of the Center for Maine Contemporary Art (CMCA), Rockland, ME, effective January 18, 2021. Tim succeeds Suzette McAvoy, who will retire at the end of December after more than 10 years at the helm of CMCA. Sarah Hall appointed Executive Director

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Sarah Hall as the new Director of the Museum of Fine Arts-Washington County (MFA-WC) in Hagerstown, MD. Chosen after a nationwide search, Hall will assume her new duties on July 20, 2020.

Kent dur Russell, Executive Director of the Museum of Russian Icons, Clinton, MA, announced that Dr. Lana Sloutsky was appointed Curator of Collections and Exhibitions. In her role, Sloutsky will work to deepen the understanding of the museum’s permanent collection and be responsible for developing exhibitions and related programs; developing a collection plan, initiating collection research and acquisition, and connecting MoRI to other scholars and institutions worldwide, while continuing to reach out to the local town and region. She will start on September 14, 2020.
