We at Museum Search & Reference stand in support of the many protesters these past two weeks who have stood up for the value of black lives, and for the national effort to end long-standing inequality, injustice and lack of access in America for people of color. One important step is to encourage museums to be more inclusive in their hiring practices and appoint more people of color in executive positions.
We are here to help our museum clients in this important work. We always work to identify, build and activate inclusive networks and to present a diverse field of candidates. Together we can identify a pipeline of talent that captures the diversity and broad set of experiences within American society, and encourage placement of these individuals in museums. We look forward to all of us working on this together.
