Andrew Sandall appointed President & CEO
Throughout his tenure at MOAS Sandall has grown resources,developed programs, reached new audiences and significantlyincreased the endowment. His career path includes leadershiproles at organizations including the internationally important National Railway Museum in the UK, the Orange CountyRegional History Center in Orlando, FL and for the past 9years as Executive Director of MOAS. Sandall has experienceworking with historic properties, diverse collections spanningcenturies, capital building projects, and developing complexfunding models and streams. He has a Master’s degree inMuseum Studies from Leicester University, Leicester, UK.
Sandall stated, “It is a true honor to be selected to lead theMorris Museum and join its talented and passionate team. Ilook forward to working with the board and staff to developthe very best, relevant, and engaging programs andexhibitions. I am eager to get to know the community andmeet the museum’s audiences and supporters after manyyears away.”
The Chair of the Morris Museum Board of Trustees Edwardvon der Linde said, “We are very pleased to announce Andy’shiring and look forward to his arrival. He brings a wealth ofmuseum leadership experience, innovative thinking, and atrack record of success. He is a change agent, anentrepreneur and visionary leader.”
Sandall will start his duties in early 2022.
