Dr. Devorah Romanek named Chief of Exhibits and Interpretive Services
After a national search led by MS&R senior search consultant Ida Tomlin, the Museum of History & Industry (MOHAI) has appointed Dr. Devorah Romanek as MOHAI’s Chief of Exhibits and Interpretive Services. Romanek began work at MOHAI on May 8.

Catherine Cooney appointed Senior Curator and inaugural Patrick Coleman Chair for Maps, Rare Books and Print Culture
After a national search led by MS&R Senior Search Consultant Connie Rosemont, an experienced special collections librarian and educator will carry on Patrick Coleman’s legacy at the Minnesota Historical Society (MNHS). Catherine “Cate” Cooney will serve as the inaugural Patrick Coleman Chair, Senior Curator of Maps, Rare Books, and Print Cultures.

Tami Landis, named Curator of Postwar and Contemporary Glass
Tami Landis will join the Corning Museum as Curator of Postwar and Contemporary Glass in October. Landis is a curator, writer, and educator who has worked within the fields of contemporary art and craft. She was appointed to this curatorial position following a national search led by MS&R Senior Search Consultant Dan Yaeger.

Amy McHugh appointed as Curator of Modern Glass
After a national search led by Senior Search Consultant Dan Yaeger, Amy McHugh assumed her role at the Corning Museum in September. She has held curatorial positions at the Museum of American Arts and Crafts Movement in St. Petersburg, FL and the Tiffany & Co. Archives in Parsippany, NJ. Her work has centered on objects created by American Arts and Craft practitioners utilizing glass, as well as Tiffany history, including the designing, importing, and retailing of glass and silver-mounted glass. She received her MA in History of Decorative Arts and Design from Parsons The New School and is a member of numerous professional glass organizations including the ICOM International Committee for Museums and Collections of Glass (board member), Art Glass Forum New York, and the National American Glass Club (membership chair).
