Thomas Sullivan appointed Executive Director
The Westchester Children’s Museum Board of Trustees has voted unanimously to appoint Thomas Sullivan as its new Executive Director. The appointment follows an extensive national search conducted by MS&R Senior Search Consultant Ida Tomlin. Sullivan assumed his new position on October 11, 2022.

Joshua Torrance appointed Executive Director
After a national search led by MS&R Senior Search Consultant Lora Urbanelli, the Florence Griswold Museum of Old Lyme, CT has announced the appointment of Joshua Torrance as the Museum’s next Executive Director. Currently Executive Director of the Webb-Deane-Stevens Museum in Wethersfield, CT, Torrance will assume his role at the FloGris beginning February 6, 2023. In his new role, Torrance will lead the Board and staff through an exciting era, completing the Museum’s five-year strategic plan that features a capital and endowment campaign, a building expansion and environmental designs along the river, as well as efforts to shape new programs and increase audience and visibility in the region.

Matthew Wallace appointed Executive Director
After an extensive nationwide search lead by MS&R senior consultant Scott Stevens, the North Dakota Museum of Art Board of Directors has named Matthew Wallace as the new executive director to fill the role of the museum’s founder, Laurel Reuter, who is retiring.

Linnea Grim to lead as new President and CEO
Strawbery Banke Museum announced January 11th the appointment of Linnea Grim as president and CEO, Thomas W. Haas Endowed Chair. Grim currently serves as Vice President of Guest Experiences for the Thomas Jefferson Foundation, the private nonprofit that owns and operates Monticello in Virginia. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, from William & Mary, Williamsburg, VA, and a Master’s degree in history museum studies from The Cooperstown Graduate Program at SUNY, Oneonta, NY. She takes over on March 6, succeeding Lawrence J. Yerdon, who is retiring after 18 years in the position.
